This #GivingTrueDay, you can open doors for our Interior Design seniors.
EMU Interior Design seniors in the Class of 2026 are preparing for their National Council for Interior Design Certification (NCIDQ) and LEED Green Associate professional exams that mark the next step toward launching their design careers. These exams are an exciting milestone, but the fees can become a real hurdle for students who are already working hard to balance classes, projects, and jobs. Support is especially important now, as students must pay their exam fees in January to remain on track for certification.
Two years ago, that support made a remarkable difference for Leah Pulice. With help from donors, Leah completed her LEED Green Associate certification exam before graduation and stepped into her professional life fully prepared for what came next. You can read more about Leah’s journey here: https://magazine.emich.edu/summer-2025/designing-a-future.
Leah’s story shows what is possible when students have the resources they need. Their ideas sharpen, their skills grow, and their accomplishments speak for themselves.
This #GivingTrueDay, you can help create more stories like hers. Every dollar directly supports students as they take the final steps toward becoming licensed designers and entering the field with confidence.
Thank you for supporting EMU’s emerging designers.
