About

Support the Future of Black Business Leaders at EMU

The NABA, Inc. – Eastern Michigan University Chapter Fund is more than just a fundraiser — it’s a movement. Every gift from alumni, friends, families, and community members helps open doors for EMU students who are ready to lead, achieve, and make lasting change in the business world.

NABA, Inc. (National Association of Black Accountants) is a nationwide organization dedicated to engaging, empowering, and educating Black business students and professionals. Our mission is to build pathways of opportunity, foster excellence, and amplify the voices of future leaders in business and beyond.

Each year, EMU NABA students attend the NABA National Conference — a transformative experience that connects them with top employers, skill-building workshops, and a network of professionals who inspire success. This opportunity equips students to:

  • Gain real-world exposure and professional experience
  • Build meaningful connections through networking and mentorship
  • Strengthen leadership and communication skills
  • Take tangible steps toward a thriving career and a secure future

By giving to this fund, you’re not just supporting a trip — you’re investing in generational progress. You’re helping to create business professionals who will one day return to lift others, expanding the impact of Black leadership across industries.

Together, we can lift as we climb and ensure every aspiring leader at EMU has the tools, access, and confidence to succeed.

Join us in making a difference — give today to empower tomorrow’s leaders.
