About

The Teaching and Learning Together (TaLT) initiative from the Bruce K. Nelson Faculty Development Center aims to rethink education at EMU. Students learn better, and faculty enjoy their teaching more, when strong connections exist between the two. These partnerships can take the form of research collaboration, co-teaching, or even just hanging out together outside of class. At its heart, TaLT is about making students partners in their education, rather than merely the objects of it.

Your support will help us fund student work at our Flipping the Script student-led teaching conference, to support the work of faculty and students in our Persisting Together retention initiatives, or to defray expenses for our other TaLT programs. To learn more about these programs, visit https://www.emich.edu/facdev/t...

TaLT is about harnessing the power of these relationships to rethink what is possible in teaching and learning at EMU. Please join us in this endeavor!
